Stops charging at 92%

I’m charging my new VDP , and it keeps on stopping the charge at 92% . It doesn’t advance any further

I go and disconnect the usb from the device and connect it back in and it’ll charge it for like 1 minute and then quit charging .

Any help here

I have to disconnect the power adapter and also disconnect the usb end to the device and plug them back in and it’ll charge for about 3 minutes and then stop charging .

What the ?!
