Was the test of the new Web Portal just for last week and is not ready yet for use?

My understanding is that It was intended to be ready for use but they got overwhelmed with complaints that they were limiting it to viewing just 4 cameras at a time now when people were used to more. Then they upgraded it to 6 at a time. People were still complaining and angry and threatening to leave the company and cancel subscriptions. So they reversed it to the old one for now. (Note, this is my interpretation of the events, not some official thing that Wyze stated)
There has been no official statement on whether they are going to make updates and bring it back or if they just decided to cancel it all together.
