[SOLVED] "No video available at this time"

You’re saying I’m lying about my cards having lasted 3.5 years so far? The cards work fine in all my cams as well as my PC.

Yeah they’re using a higher write speed for those numbers (some assumed value based on industry averages or something). I did the calculations based on the Wyze write speed of about 10MB/min and the endurance rating (TBW) in their spec sheet, and it came out to double what is listed there.

I just hope they last a long time since the prices are 3X-5X of what I paid for my 12 cards preiously.

Yeah I keep them in my amazon saved items just to watch the insane fluctuations. Who knows if they’d even properly honor their warranty, several manufacturers of RAM and SSDs have just been refunding the original purchase price rather than providing replacements. I really should have stocked up when I got these 128s for $13 each.

New firmware same problems.

Just updated to

4.50.17.25

Got excited because on one camera it recognized card but hours later it’s back to the same issues.

So what’s next?

As the solution for this thread suggests, throw your camera in the trash and buy a new one. I think it is funny that the “solution” was to get a replacement camera from WYZE. Good luck with that.

Formating sd card works, then it starts to record fine until you view one of events on sd card it doesn’t load no video avaliable message. Then it doesn’t record on sd card anymore. Solution is format again let to record, don’t play or view sd card. If you want to view events or video eject ad card from cam then play it phone pc or phone micro sd slot. I think wyze doing some satanic :poop: thru firmware updates, they want you to purchase new cam every year.

That’s not how it works. He who makes an allegation bears the burden of proving it.

Wyze should put disclaimer or kind notice for using normal micro sd card, & use only sd card made for security camera. Even wyze the self sell normal sd card.

Or are those high endurance sd card gimmick? I know high end vs low end has speed difference but it lasting longer I’m not sure. Any body has experience with high endurance card? How is it hdinh up?

Nobody’s going to bother taking you “to court”. Nobody cares about random forum rants.

I have 128GB and 256GB Samsung Pro Endurance cards in eleven cameras, all recording continuous 24/7. Half of them have been in operation for 3 years or more, the rest have been in operation cotinuous for 2years or more. Never any issues with SD cards in V3, V3 Pro or V4 cams.

Are you sure, they’re not Samsung?

Definitely not a gimmick, I have endurance cards in all my cams and they’re going on 3.5 years of continuous recording now. I made the mistake of using a standard card in one of my dash cams and it lasted about 6 months. The endurance card I replaced it with has been in it for many years now.

Fixed my typo . SAMSUNG, raccoon approved. About $23.00 when purchased, couldn’t afford the $153.99 Price tag for each card now. :money_with_wings:

My 128s were $13. Had I known, I would have bought more.

Sansung and Samdisk are both semi-common fake brands. Guess its a sign of how little attention people pay these days if they fall for that.

Is there ever going to be a fix for no video available for cam v3?
