Bought 4 new solar pan cams for work.
Issue is cameras do not fully work on a network where it is managed by my IT department. They were able to determine some UDP protocols were being blocked, but when sharing the camera with other wyze accounts, the live view on the shared accounts do not come up. It just times out on step #3 when authenticating. Also when adding these to the network, I am not able to setup some of the feature like cooldown period or length of video recordings.
I’ve used many other Wyze cameras on the work network. More recently used the Wyze Battery Cam Pro which works fine with all features and shared accounts are able to view live video.
But now when using the new Solar Pan Cam on the same network, they just don’t work 100%.
I’ve configured the cameras at home and all works fine, but not at work. These new cameras may be using updated UDP protocol setups and different ports to communicate with the Wyze cloud.
Anyone running into the same problem on a network managed by their IT department. I know my IT department blocks many ports to avoid hacks.
Anyhelp would be greatly appreciated so I can share with my IT department who say this is a Wyze cloud issue but again when using the cameras at home they work fine but not on the job network.
Thanks
