The app hasn’t been consistent since day one so before I call it quits after 2 years I decided to clear storage and start over one more time.
So I log in and go through the phony 2 factor login. And yes it’s BS because they assume you are getting the code but if you were hacked the criminal get it. And they know this.
Anyway now you can not view your cameras with out setting a lock screen on your phone. Well isn’t that special! Now I bet they do this for your security? Truth is Wyze wants you to do this, that and the other thing but they DO NOT TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR IT – EVER. Even though they FORCE you to do it.
Wyze wants to protect your phone security yet they force you to use the most hacked browser on their web site. Makes sense if you have a deal with google.
When you start paying my phone bill then you can tell me what to do. Never needed a locked screen and not doing it now. Not keying in a code every time I need to use my phone.
Your product couldn’t catch a porch pirate because it was too busy taking a break between cam-plus recordings. The cameras do not know the difference between a vehicle, person, pet, etc. Way too many internet errors. They record everything that does not need to be recorded.
On top of that if you don’t use cam plus and use a SD card Wyze still records the data over the internet. Yea – just invite yourself to use your customers internet for you own purpose. Are you sharing with google? Would not be surprised is you are selling it to the CCP,
When problems are reported you just throw the same list of instructions at your customers every time.
No more money or data from me. Go tend your other sheep.
Wonder what the FTC or FCC thinks? I don’t think they are all that friendly these days.
