Sharing camera

I just received my first wyze camera. The 4v. I have shared this camera with another person and they are getting a connection error. On mine since I’m the main user it is working fine. She can see the camera is there but not view events or live feed at all. Any help would be appreciated!

What ISP/router are you using? They are connecting from the “outside” and this can be an issue for some ISP routers especially. Disabling any “advanced” or “Strict” security in the router can help.

If you change your phone to mobile data (disable wifi temporarily) do you have the issue too? That basically simulates what they’re doing.

I mean I’m assuming the other user is not on the same wifi as you. If they are, then something else is going on, probably with their phone or the wyze app, may need to uninstall and reinstall the app or clear the cache, etc.

Yes this other person is on the same WiFi as me.

What additional information can you share about the connection error that the shared access user is seeing? I agree that clearing the in-app cache ( Account ➜ App Settings ➜ Cache File Size ➜ Clear) and/or deleting and installing the app again seem like reasonable things for her to try.
