I manage several cameras in different locations, including some abroad. We recently had to change the provider, which means the SSID and password may have changed. I’m wondering if there’s a way to generate a QR code that contains the updated SSID and password, which I could then send to the person on-site who can setup the cameras
Yes, you should be able to do it this way on some of the older cameras that use the QR code. They will still have to press the setup button and show the QR code while you go through the rest of the steps in the app. But it can work this way since that camera doesn’t require onsite Bluetooth setup.
This is a great way to setup a camera remotely without having to give the person access to your Wyze account credentials.
