My v3 won’t set up. Red light flashes but says nothing when set up button is pressed. I tried power cycle to no avail. Tried factory reset and that didn’t change anything either. I must be doing something wrong. Someone please help before I smash this thing!
Make sure you are actually getting the setup button pressed. Because of the waterproof cover, it is somewhat hard to press the button enough with your finger. The tip of your finger works better than the pad of your finger. Better yet, I use a non sharp pointed needle nose pliers or other hand tool. You don’t want to use something semi sharp that could damage the cover.
You can feel the button “click” when you get it pressed enough.
