just make a real security camera that records 24-7-365 - day and night period and that give a recording for last 2 weeks that would be reviewable from phone and i could use a usb harddrive to save all video to it so i could review it when i needed ! thats all a security camera should do ! because your products which i have 8 and even with all your ridiculous settings correctly set to record someone breaking to my cars your cameras are 1 for 10 and for some reason your cameras will not record any events at night ever since your new app show i would love to show you pictures hell i would love to show the police videos and pictures but the only robbery i can show is the receipt of my purchases of your products that are useless as security cameras

While these cams can easily record 24x7x365 to SD card (all mine do, for 2 years straight now) and save many weeks or even months of data if you use a large enough card, no wifi cloud cam that costs $20 or $30 will ever be a “security camera”. Not from any brand.
If you are serious about security then look into the real brands that run hardwired using POE and record to a dedicated NVR.
In reality, Wyze cams (with the exception of some of the battery powered ones) can do exactly what you’re asking if you set them up right. The 1 exception is you can’t plug the cam itself into a computer to retrieve the files, you have to take out the SD card and plug that in, but since both require close access to the camera to do, removing the SD card is actually easier, no need to take a laptop right up to the cam.
