My general opposition to Apple

Part of my beef still has to do with the on-screen keyboard I was forced to use when I carried an iPhone for a while:

Heh. I just read this: “Use iOS only because work forced me into this POS iPhone 8.” I can relate, @K6CCC. I had to carry an iPhone 5 for a previous employer years ago. For me, the most infuriating thing was Apple’s inflexibility with the keyboard. In 2022, they finally did what they should’ve done at least ten years prior…around the time Android added native Dvorak support to Jelly Bean. Much happy !

I’m actually glad Apple exists and provides MASSIVE competition in the market.

That’s solid. I’m not denying the innovation that has come out of Cupertino. Plus an appropriate villain is crucial for any kind of dramatic conflict story.
