Scale X won’t update FW

SCALES is not a category, so I picked camera.
Got scale X today. Paired fine, but won’t update FW. Tried 20 times
Plus reset, removed batteries

Same. I had no trouble learning it in under Scale X but it would not update. Tried at least 15 times, pulled batteries, reset but nothing worked. Also it only measures weight and nothing else, gives a pop up message about what to do to get other readings but it makes no difference.
