Unless I’m missing something, rules seem to get extremely messy when sharing cameras. Question:
If I set a location based rule to turn off notifications when I get home, and put the same rule on my wife’s phone, is it independent of the phone? For example, I’m out of the house and my notifications are on. My wife arrives home and turns off notifications. Does that turn notifications off on just her phone, or both our phones?
Currently notifications are at the Camera level instead of the account level, so if anyone turns off notifications, they get turned off for everyone.
Android has a workaround for this because it allows for 3rd party apps to control notifications (ie: MacroDroid, Buzzkill, Tasker, etc), but there is no workaround on iOS because Apple doesn’t allow customization, so Wyze will have to resolve this att the account level. They have said they are researching a solution for this, but we don’t know how long it will take as there is no ETA.
