Rtsp with Netcam Studio and Sighthound

Netcam Studio X and Sighthound both intermittently lose the connection and fail to connect to my pancam after being in use successfully for days. I have found that if I login to my pancam from my iPhone and go into the rtsp setup page and re-generate the URL then all my video programs magically re-connect to the pancam. I note that the IP has not changed and the assigned URL remains the same from before and after re-generation. It seems like the pancam “forgets” its rtsp settings and will not allow remote connections. Is there a fix?

Switching from RTSP-TCP to using RTSP-UDP seems to have improved my situation. Maybe this will help someone else who has the same issue…
