Hey guys, decided to flash one of my cameras today with the RTSP fw, what an awful experience… it’s just so slow that I’m considering ditching the cameras… are there any plans for a better and more stable fw?

What do you mean by slow? I’ve got 6 cameras running RTSP (4 with the latest, 2 with the original) firmware. They are fast when using the live Wyze app, and fast when viewing and managing via my NVR software (Netcam Studio).
What problem have you encountered?

I’m using HA to check the camera status, the camera loads fast sometimes and sometimes its just super freaking slow… and there’s a huge delay.

Hmm, might be a HA issue - what’s your spec for running that?

I can’t tell a difference with the one I’ve got RTSP on.

PI4 4gb ram, hassio is running fine and works flawlessly… I’ve heard similar comments on reddit where people are facing connection issues as well
