With the latest app and firmware for beta, Are “Event Recording” and “Detection Settings” independent from each other. For Example
If you only select “Person” notification on with “All other Motion” and “Sound” turned off, will you only get event recordings for motion detected as a Person?
Or would event recording with motion still be the same as it has been, and now you only get notification for motion detected as a person?
I believe the person option works like a filter. so when you are looking at everything in your event log and click the person button, it will then filter and show you just the events with the items marked as person detected. with person on, you are basically giving the partner company permission the peruse the videos through their AI and thus mark the people detected clips. that is just my educated guess through. I hadn’t put much thought into it until now.
