Problem on my OG

I’m having this problem on my OG. Everything is updated and there is still an issue with loading live stream.I have to mess around in the settings and then leave them as they were to begin with before it will load at all. What’s the fix here?

What settings do you mess around with? It is possible your app cache just needs to be cleared and phone restarted maybe?

I’ve done that multiple times. Tried everything except uninstall/ reinstall. I really don’t want to have to set everything back up again.Idk if that will be necessary with the Wyze app but other apps it was necessary.I am in Beta with the Wyze app. Could that be affecting OG currently?

Hi again.I just realized that I hadn’t answered your question about what I mess around with in settings.I go to devices and into the camera’s settings Then I simply turn them off and back on again. Like detect person, package etc. Off . Back on .Go back to home and try live view again and this time it will load right away.:woman_shrugging:t2: Idk how or why that fixes it but it does.Problem is by the time I do all that whatever was happening outside is often no longer happening.

You can try the “reset services” if you haven’t already however since you’re running the Beta app, you could just be seeing a bug with the beta, hard to say. Did it do it with the production app too?

There isn’t really any reason those settings should have anything to do with loading the live stream though. Potentially just a wifi or connectivity issue, or like I said, something with the beta version. The current beta is working to resolve connectivity issues with some other cams so it potentially could have negatively impacted the OGs which weren’t having those issues….

Thank you for the advice! I think I will just hang tight and not do anything further just yet. I’m just going to do my little quick fix for awhile longer and hopefully they’ll get that bug under control and that will be the end of that. To your question: no, it didn’t do it on the regular Wyze app.i I hadn’t considered that.Good catch. Thanks again! I’ll keep you updated as needed.:+1:t2:

You can try the “reset services” at least - it basically resets your detections to default and synchs settings with the server. Then you just have to go uncheck the detection types you don’t want.

Won’t hurt anything to try that one and just takes a few seconds (and mostly in the areas you’re already doing the workaround).
