What is the earliest major construction project time lapse ever recorded?

Film clips and stills only on this one:

I don’t even like my 6 foot stepladder.
I have been to the 86th floor open air observation deck of the Empire State building twice. :eyes:
I’ll see if I can get the :raccoon: gang to build something so I can make a time lapse ,

The :raccoon: with the forklift license might make a good crew chief.

You’re the foreman and principal photographer.

Been up there, too! Great lay of the land.

:sob: I still haven’t made a time lapse of anything in the last 4.5 years. Some day maybe?

No time like the present!

Not my video, but very cool. Palmer Pool Timelapse from 2021 using a Wyze Cam v3.

Bueno! Any idea how much that might cost?

Empire State Bldg is said to have cost $660M (in 2023 money.)

A good friend and my uncle had a in-ground pool. I have swam in many but never built one so I will abstain from the cost vote.

If National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation is a reliable source of information (and I have absolutely no reason to believe that it wouldn’t be), then I believe the cost is one’s last nerve. shrug

Oh, so not a :bat: (had to find a YT clip that wasn’t age restricted to test your thesis.)

This one was done with a cam v1 :cam_v2: (2018!)

Another ā€˜demo’ in progress! A shortie.

5 sec / 1.1 MB file hosted directly here on the forum (which has a ~5.8 MB upload limit.) Youtube is useful for files bigger than that (and a link to it dropped into a forum post automatically displays the video ready to play.)

Wyze’s overview from the early days, so the app demo will be similar but not exact.

Some settings suggestions from the video notes:

Clouds on windy day - 3s
Sunrise or sunset - 6s
Clouds on calm day - 9s
Nightly star shooting - 15s
Flower blooming - 1m

Your inclusion of :cloud: construction/deconstruction reminds me of this:
