I have one camera recording to SD card continuously. I find it very difficult to try to select the time for playback. For instance, the car parked in front of my house vanishes. I wish to see who got it in. Something like a exponential slider or buttons would be very nice. It would enable changing the playback time in 1 second, 10 second, 100 second, 1000 second jumps both positive and negative. See attached example.

You can use the pinch/unpinch gesture on the time scale to expand/compress the timeline during playback.
