My PanCamv2 is only showing a red light and the camera lens is pointing at 12 o’clock. I have disconnected the camera multiple times, the red light goes off and when I plug it back in, it’s a solid red light again. I have tried factory reset many times waiting 10 secs, 20secs, and 30secs., no change. I have plugged it in to a new power source and closer to the router, no change. I’ve used three different usb cords, no change. I removed the sd card and the camera motor turned and the lens went to the middle, but the light was still red. So I tried a factory reset again and the camera whirled and the lens settled at 12 o’clock again and then no change. I put the card back in and no change. I did all the previous attempts again with no change. Any ideas?
Only other thing to try would be the manual firmware process, maybe it tried to update and failed or somehow became corrupted.
When doing this I would make sure you’re using a known good power supply and cable, make sure the SD card is freshly formatted to FAT32 and has nothing other than the firmware file is on it, and factory reset the cam both before inserting the sd card and starting the process, then again after the update and removal of the SD card.
