I have a new pan v3, which keeps looking up instead of forward when it rains. How can I keep it looking straight and not up? Most of the time it works fine, but I’ve found at night, when it rains, it records motion and moves around until it’s pointing almost straight up.
Greetings
Is it possible you have track motion activated and it sees the rain?
Yes, track motion is activated, but I don’t want it to track the rain. I want to keep track motion on.
Maybe try to lower detection settings.
I’ll give that a try. Thank you.
I tried setting the detection settings down to 0 on both motion and sound, but the camera still spins around and looks straight up while it was raining.
I don’t have that cam but couldn’t you set the detection zone to ignore the top 1/3 of the image?
Not sure if this will work because I never had a pan cam permanently outside in the rain.
The detection zone is already set to ignore the top 1/3 of the image.
Then I have no other ideas. Sorry.
