I just noticed that if I pan my camera down after 15 seconds it returns to a level position. I put it up on a shelf and need it to look down. I don’t have motion tracking on and there is no one in the room.

You probably need to set your waypoints.
I just set waypoints. I moved the camera to where I wanted it then it moved on it’s own.
If you want to keep your camera pointed to the same location try going to Settings for the camera > Detection Settings > Detection Zone. Turn Detection Zone On and Point your camera with the four way buttons.
This location should become the Home position that the camera returns to after 15 seconds.
That was the problem. Detection zone was turned on. I turned it off and now my camera stays where I want it. That is go ok d to know that if I turn it on I need to set where i want it to look. I wish you could set it to activate on a schedule.

You can turn the camera, motion detection and/or notifications on/off on a schedule using automated shortcuts.
Shortcuts can be created at the top of the main menu.
