Last year I mounted a Pan Cam outside protected by a canister from Walmart for about $7. Since it power cycles each day automatically I know it has worked all winter. With the new IR off feature there is no longer any issue with reflection from the canister.

Are there any issues with condensation building up?
None I have seen. I don’t think the Pan generates any heat so the inside and outside the canister would be the same.
Hello @ManAbove , it does produce a small amount of heat from it getting power but not enough to cause any condensation.
The heat generated (even though minute) will actually help PREVENT any condensation. Not “cause” any…
