Wish there was a way for the solar pan cam to record longer. If so I would replace all my cameras with the solar version.
The battery powered cams (which all the solar ones are) have to have limitations or they’d just chew through batteries and people would be upset that their cam is dead a lot of the time.
I stick with the hardwired cams for that reason and just find ways to get power to them.
It’s possible to do continuous microSD recording on Solar Cam Pan if you supply constant 5V ⎓ 2A power to it, like with an appropriate USB power adapter, but it looks like cloud events are currently capped at two minutes, though you’re allowed to set “No Cooldown” if you’re a subscriber.
I don’t know what your subscription status is or what kind of recording you’re describing (microSD, cloud, or both).
