Had one of my eight outdoor cameras fail. Support was great, and are sending a replacement. The camera would not take a charge, would not do anything other than hold down a stack of papers.
Part of the troubleshooting involved different cables and power adapters.
Apparently I left the camera connected to power and went to bed. About 2 in the morning I was awoken to
“PAIRING IN PROGRESS. PLEASE WAIT”
Dog started barking, and by the time I got to the camera to throw it outside, it was back to holding down paper and if a camera had a “look” it would be saying “um, that wasn’t me”
Maybe one of my Amcrest ghosts kicked it.
