One camera won’t record events

One of my cameras is recording events but the other is not. I have Cam plus on both. Up until a week ago both have worked perfectly for years. I’ve gone to settings and the only thing I notice different between the 2 cameras is that the one not recording has smart detection. I’ve toggled that off but it immediately toggles back on to smart detection when I go back to check. Totally frustrated as I don’t know what to do. Of course, we are away from home for the next 2 months so really want it to work. Thoughts?

If I were in that position, I would try the following things first:

  • Go into the settings and tell the camera to restart.
  • Go into the account Tab and Services section and remove the camera from the cam plus license. Then I would clearn the cache from the app (also in the account tab under App Settings) to force the app to pull all new information, then I would go back into services and add the camera back onto the cam plus license and go back into the camera and toggle back on all the same settings you had before.
