I have a requirement to deploy the camera in an area that doesn’t have internet access. I’d like to use the motion detection feature to trigger recordings, but the Wyze support team tells me this feature is disabled when the camera doesn’t have network connectivity.
This is the only feature standing in the way of me purchasing several cameras. I’m guessing this is just a software limitation and wouldn’t require any hardware changes to implement.
