I was DMing Wyze about your issue and latest scenario. Can you create a device log? I would press the doorbell and then after you answer, go back to the settings for the doorbell and donwyzw support, pick other.

Not sure what changed but it randomly asked me this morning to make wyze a calling account so it’s working now. Thank you so much!

I have OnePlus 6 (old phone) and OnePlus Nord 2T.
OnePlus 6 use Wyze as the calling account. Nord 2T don’t need this option. Either way, wyze app works fine on all of the phones.
Just reviving this topic as I just received my system on Friday, set everything up on Saturday, updated all firmware, and I am already engaged with support because my “video doorbell” wouldn’t send me any notifications. After a couple hours of troubleshooting and following all the steps from support, I am getting notifications and events for motion from the doorbell now. Progress… however, I have never received a notification for a doorbell press. Turning on VOIP, breaks the motion notifications and events.
Hello, I have been using the new doorbell V2 for about a week. Initial tests worked fine. Today I had my first visitor and I did not get the ring notification on my Samsung Galaxy s23 ultra.i didn’t get the motion that leads up to it either.i checked the events and it’s definitely there. Of course my notifications are on. I do not have VoIP enabled. This is not looking like a good product release after all.
I am also not seeing any notifications when the doorbell is pressed. Makes the whole device pointless. I have all the correct notications on. Really need a solution to this

Im having the same problem and I cannot view live feed when somebody rings the doorbell. I am using an iPhone 14 Pro max and I noticed that thid isn’t the case on my wife’s and shes using iPhone 12 Pro Max.
I have the same problem started after Jan 25th update. No notification or Voip calls when doorbell pro pressed on both Android and Iphone. We had the same problem last year and it took some time to fix it, I hope this time will be faster. Notifications are working for the motion detection at least.

Same issue that countless others have reported. Doorbell V2 rings on the indoor chime but does not issue an alert via the phone, nor record an event. No better than if I had kept my traditional doorbell if I don’t get a video on my phone nor an alert when away from home. Notifications all checked and firmware updated and all other Wyze cams seem to function as expected.
6/28/2024 and I have this same issue. Notification not always working on doorbell v2 button press. Chime works, just randomly the notification never comes.
