I don’t mind the extra events not being recorded (after the 5-min max), but at least find a way to have those “missing” events show on the SD “Continuous recording” card timeline (if you have a subscription)

Yeah that’s the one thing I like about the couple cams that are on “event only” recording on SD card, even if the icon isn’t there for the “in between” events, you can clearly see on the timeline that there was an event, instead of just solid green.
Would be nice if continuous had like a darker green or some other color to denote that, but of course they don’t really have motivation to do that.
That’s true, too, and I have cameras also on “Events Only” setting. However, the question of “when motion stops” crops up; your idea is different from Wyze’s.

Would be nice if the period for determining “no motion” is configurable for SD card recording. This shouldn’t cost Wyze.
It won’t cost but won’t generate residual income either, so it will never happen.
