Have 6 v3 cams and 1 v4. Two days ago, when checking overnight playback of pets and animals eating in garage etc., format changed to that of v4 cam showing still photos. Don’t have subscription. What happened?
The new app changed the format. No subscription no videos, been that way for years unless maybe you had cam plus lite on your V3 cams. Do you have micro SD cards in your cameras that you can record to playback from?
Tap SD card to play back if you have the cards installed.
Original poster. There was an automatic software update that caused the change. I replaced the update from Time Machine backup with previous version and playback worked as before. Last night, the software updated again; problem of no video playback reoccured. One of my cams is a v4. Might try disconnecting that and redo backup from Time Machine.
I use iOS and I have Automatic App updates turned off as well as Automatic Firmware updates on all 15 WYZE cams turned off. I don’t like surprises in the morning.
