No playback twice, each time an event worth of 911

I see so many topics about no playback. I installed the camera in question months ago after a neighbor frightened away individuals preparing to chop the catalytic converter out of my car. I tested play back; it worked.
Several months later, my converter is actually chopped. I go to the camera, and it says, no playback.
I reinsert the SD card and confirm playback is again working. I assumed I just had not fully inserted the card or something.
Now a car just rolled up to my car checking it out. I go to my camera and “NO PLAYBACK”.
What is this thing worth if I cannot depend on it?
Is there just a large drop out rate for SD card performance? My other two Wyze cameras still have playback working.
What is causing playback to just fail?
Today I just received a outdoor Wyze, I believe I will return it and buy a better system.

Have you tried putting the SD card in your computer to see if it can be accessed there?

I was on chat with an effective support guy. The SD card could be read by my computer. We tried several things that did not expose an issue. In the end I updated the firmware on all three of my cameras and moved the camera with the repeated failure from the critical position to a non-critical position. The problem is, you can set up your cameras and confirm that you have playback, but then months go past, you do not test for playback, then you have not play back. I am now testing for playback every few days.
There has been no issues for four days, but I need to wait a couple months to be more confident.
