New iOS app today 4/1/26?

My iOS devices say there is a new app 3.11.5 (4) today. Not on the release notes or WYZE News.?

Any info.?

The App Store just list bug fixes. I think I will stay on IOS version 3.11.0.6 until forum members chime in with positive comments.

I am also staying on 3.11.0.6 until the smoke clears. Bug fixes :rofl: :rofl:

I haven’t seen a Wyze News or Discord announcement for this as of this writing, but I noticed a couple of days ago in App & Firmware updates - Released 3/23/2026 that some Android users were reporting a version newer than what’s announced there, and one of my phones updated to that yesterday.

I suspect that the developers may have released this without notifying Jason, but that’s just speculation on my part. I haven’t seen any official word about this.

I just updated to IOS App version 3.11.5 (4). All the basic things I do with the App are working fine (Live View, SD card Playback, viewing Cloud Event videos and deleting a few Cloud videos at a time). I never try to delete a whole day at once.

I don’t use Rules or Detection Zones.

I am happy to report IOS App 3.11.5.4 no longer crashes while I swipe through Cloud Event videos. When on 3.11.0.6, swiping through Cloud Event videos the App occasionally (maybe a couple of times per day) seemed to crash and go to the Home Screen.

I didn’t realize that had been happening on iOS. I remember it was discussed as an Android issue a year ago.

I may have to correct myself. I was on App 2.50 on all my devices until about 3 weeks ago. Now that you mention it being an Android issue i am not sure which of my devices exhibited the problem.

However, the crashing is so far Not happening on Android 3.11.5.764 and IOS 3.11.5.4.

I might’ve experienced it once or twice (I don’t use iOS at all, so this would’ve been definitely an Android thing for me), but what sticks in my mind is that this was mentioned in more than one Forum topic, and I believe @p2788deal speculated about a memory leak issue at the time, which seems entirely plausible.

Android 3.11.5.764 is still crashing when swiping through Cloud videos. Seems like the App will lockup then revert back to the Home screen.

Still waiting for the :fire: :fire: and smoke to clear before I update my iOS devices.
