My thermostat is shutting off 1° above set point and then kicking back on

Recently my thermostat has been shutting off one degree above set point and then kicking back on. This periodically causes the compressor to short cycle and overload. The condensate drain has been checked and cleaned, the float switch is operating normally. I have three ways thermostats in my home and this is the only one causing issues. It appears that the thermostat has reached set point and then the room temperature changes causing the compressor to kick back on. I do not have room temperature sensors installed.
