My phone shows a working camera feed while another phone says the camera is offline

I have an interesting issue where my phone shows a fully functional pan cam version 3 feed but my wife’s phone says the camera is offline.
We have done all the usual diagnostic steps I think such as making sure the app is updated, restarting the camera, etc. Both phones are Androids.
Any thoughts on this?

Shared camera or using the same account?

I set up your account and then send her the invite to join all the cameras.

I’m also having issues with this camera and recording to the SD card. I’ve switched SD cards and even switched cameras and that’s been an issue for quite some time.

You may find that sharing an account is better, not for this issue but just in general. Guest accounts are highly restricted and functionality is limited.

For this issue, are you both on the same wifi, or is she on cellular data, etc? If it works on wifi but not cellular, I’m guessing you might actually have the same issue if you switch to cellular, and that would be your router blocking the connection typically.

That’s a different issue. If you go to the live feed, then tap SD card there, does it work? There is a bug where viewing from the events screen will say there is no SD card or no recording, but it works from the main screen fine. Even on the events screen, often it will actually work if you wait a few seconds.

However if it doesn’t detect the SD card at all, and you’ve tried multiple cards and multiple cams, how are you formatting the card? Try formatting it using the utility from sdcard.org then putting it in the camera, and then going into the SD card settings, making sure it is enabled and detected.
