My motion videos stop after no more than twenty seconds

Hello there. So today I tried opening a video via tapping the thumbnail alert under events, and got an error that states it can’t be viewed but that I can just view it in my external memory card. Out of curiosity I tried to do so and it says there isn’t a memory card in the camera. Contradicting right? Anyhow. Any ideas? Also I’m pretty sure at one time or another I did have an ad card inserted into this camera. I don’t recall removing it ever but never know if someone else may have. Also none of my cameras are recording entire motions thru to the end. Why is this? In the settings I have them definitely set to record the entire motion. Please help. I wish it could keep a log of the times and dates when they are powered off and back on as well.

You didn’t mention which camera model(s) you’re using, but I think what you’re describing has been a known issue that plagued some Cam v3s but more recently has been reported to affect some Cam Pan v3s and even some Cam v2s. This happens when you’re trying to view from an event screen (which you get to by tapping a notification or by tapping an item on the Events tab), so the work-around for now seems to be navigating directly to a camera’s microSD card recording timeline (from that camera’s Live Stream screen) and reviewing the event there.

If you navigate to the camera’s  Settings ➜ Advanced Settings, you should be able to tell if there’s a card in the camera and, if so, how it’s set to record. Tapping Manage MicroSD Card on this screen should provide additional information.

So It’s specifically on the Battery Cam Pro. There isn’t an SD Card in the camera. It was a drag having people steal my memory cards to protect their selves and my seeing, which is why I purchased the Cam Plus for unlimited recording. Seems like when I need to catch a thief, the cameras were all messing up. Idk. It is frustrating. Is there a way for me to recover deleted videos out of the app? I didn’t delete them. Someone with an android device used my account information to sign into my personal account and deleted what they didn’t want me to see.

Jumping to this statement, what have you done to protect your account? How do you know this is occurring? I would at least change your account password to a strong password asap, and enable 2fa.

Well I happened to look under accounts on my profile and devices. That’s how I found this info out. Unfortunately it was my sister that done this. She was able to approve her own phone by sneaking my phone into the spare bedroom along with her for the night.
