# My Earbud Pro case had a meltdown

While charging smoke started coming from charging case for Pro model earbuds. Awful smell of burning electronics filled my room. I really loved this set of buds. But now no way to charge and I cant find a way to purchase the case by itself.

Sorry to hear that your Buds Pro case gave up the [magic smoke](http://www.catb.org/jargon/html/M/magic-smoke.html). I’m unaware of any way to purchase the case from Wyze, so your best bet at this point might be the secondary market (e.g., eBay) unless someone else can suggest an alternative, as this is primarily a user-to-user support community.

I’d also probably want to ensure that whatever power source you were using for the case (power adapter and/or cable if you were using wired charging) isn’t doing something funky so that it doesn’t kill any of your other electronics.
