# My camera app says it's disarmed how do I make it armed to get alerts

My camera app tells me that my camera is disarmed and I don’t know how to arm it so I can get notifications

Disarmed is for the security service. Alerts and notifications are controlled through the notification settings - are your notifications enabled?
