So I have those permanent Christmas/decoration lights on my house. At night they put on a show. My pan v3 is covering my front yard and can see the light show. When I have motion tracking on, the light just follows the blinking pattern of the lights. Unless I turn detection down to basically nothing, then I loose things in the yard/driveway. Any way to turn motion tracking off for a designated period of time?
Unfortunately not, you can use an automation to disable event recording and notifications, but not stop it from tracking things. That would have to be something you do manually.
There is a wishlist topic asking for various actions to be added to automations, you can add your vote/request there, but unfortunately it doesn’t seem to have gained any traction even though it looked like they were working on it a year ago.
