Lock Bolt V2 won't calibrate

I’ve had a lock bolt V2 installed for about 6 months with zero issues. I changed my wifi and I can’t get it to calibrate. I’ve pulled the batteries, deleted it from the app and added it back along with all other suggestions that Wyze suggests. Any thoughts on what I am missing?

Thanks!

What additional detail can you provide about your experience? Are you seeing some kind of failure message when you attempt  Settings ➜ Calibration for Lock Bolt v2? It’s been a while since I’ve set one of these up, and I don’t recall any problems with that process. I also don’t remember if any special app permissions were necessary for that, but I’d maybe consider turning on Bluetooth and Location and making sure the Wyze app has those permissions just in case, even if only temporarily. I’m really kind of guessing about that, though.

What has Wyze Support said when you contacted them?

Thanks for replying.

I get an error message that says “Calibration timed out due to inaction”.

Wyze support said it was a faulty lock and sent a new one. Installed it today and have the same issue.

I can see the lock listed in the device list of my router but the wyze app says it’s offline.

Itried turning off the 5ghz band and that didn’t help.

Wyze app has location and Bluetooth access.

You’re welcome, and thanks for the update. What additional detail can you provide about this? :backhand_index_pointing_down:

I’m currently away from home, but when I get back to my own Lock Bolt v2 I could try going through the calibration procedure again to see what happens. I don’t know if that will yield any useful information since I haven’t been having problems with it, though (aside from the 5-minute unlocked alarm, but that’s more of an annoyance than a problem). I’m wondering if your issue is about a communications problem because of the Wi-Fi changes, so maybe knowing more about what changed will provide some clues.
