I’ve had a lock bolt V2 installed for about 6 months with zero issues. I changed my wifi and I can’t get it to calibrate. I’ve pulled the batteries, deleted it from the app and added it back along with all other suggestions that Wyze suggests. Any thoughts on what I am missing?
What additional detail can you provide about your experience? Are you seeing some kind of failure message when you attempt Settings ➜ Calibration for Lock Bolt v2? It’s been a while since I’ve set one of these up, and I don’t recall any problems with that process. I also don’t remember if any special app permissions were necessary for that, but I’d maybe consider turning on Bluetooth and Location and making sure the Wyze app has those permissions just in case, even if only temporarily. I’m really kind of guessing about that, though.
You’re welcome, and thanks for the update. What additional detail can you provide about this?
I’m currently away from home, but when I get back to my own Lock Bolt v2 I could try going through the calibration procedure again to see what happens. I don’t know if that will yield any useful information since I haven’t been having problems with it, though (aside from the 5-minute unlocked alarm, but that’s more of an annoyance than a problem). I’m wondering if your issue is about a communications problem because of the Wi-Fi changes, so maybe knowing more about what changed will provide some clues.
