Lock Bolt V2 - Disable Auto-Lock Hours

Does the Bolt lock (V2) have the “same” option to disable auto-lock for a certain time range (hours)? “like” the V1 has? (Attached image is from my V1 Bolt Lock and the option to Disable auto-lock works great).

Planning on buying a V2, but need to make sure this option “Disable auto-lock during these hours” also works on the V2.

I have not seen the same option on the Lock-Bolt v2. However, you can use automations to lock and unlock the door..

The lock in the door that goes from my kitchen to the garage (this is an internal door) broke, so I was planning on replace it with a smart lock (the V2), but being this an internal door, I don’t need/want it to auto lock every x seconds ALL the time. I was hoping the V2 had the SAME option as the V1, to keep it unlock (door closed but not locked) between 9am to 10pm, then after 10pm it will automatically lock.

Can this “same behavior” be accomplished with automation rules using the V2 ?

I have mine setup to remain unlocked all day. At 10pm, I have it lock the door.

Do you have a Wyze Contact Sensor? You can use that to trigger it.

So you have your “Lock Bolt V2” auto lock “only” after 10pm, Great. I do have a Wyze contact sensor on that door, that triggers some lights inside the garage when the door is open.

Would you mind sharing a screenshot of the bolt V2 settings “and” the automation rule(s) you have in place for this setup to work ? “unlocked all day. At 10pm, I have it lock the door”

I have the Lock Bolt V2 and turned off the auto lock as I don’t really need it. My Lock is on the door between the garage and laundry room.

With that said, you can setup the door to auto lock between certain hours via automations. The trigger would be When the contact sensors closes and the time is between 10pm and 6am (whatever times you want), lock the Lock Bolt v2.

By doing this, the door will remain unlocked during the day hours, as is mine. But at night it will relock when the sensor is closed. So anyone going in and out will manually unlock the door and once the door closes it will lock. You can even set the trigger to say, when the “contact Sensor has been closed for x time” then lock the door.
