How is this service priced? Is it per camera? How much per camera?
I understand the attractiveness of a monthly revenue stream but - Another monthly fee, quietly chipping away at my monthly budget. I hate these fee, even it they’re small How about a one time price and be done with it.

It’s a totally optional add-on service. You can buy an SD card one-time to get continuous recording if you like that option better.
They implemented this based on customer demand. Cloud storage costs money, and it’s an ongoing cost for Wyze, not a one-time cost. That’s why the free tier included with the camera has the limits it has. To remove those limits, a one-time fee doesn’t really make sense. What if you use the camera for 20 years? Haha

I am paying for 6 cams to have complete motion caputure; unfortunately the coupon code was unavailable at the time of purchase, anyhow, when I attempt to “share” video clips of whether or not a see a person, I get an "error " message.
