He went easy on the cam in terms of its sound and glossed over a defect I recognized occurring intermittently during his demonstration of the cam’s view, I can hear the same scrapping sound on the playback of the WCO V2 he was reviewing, even if it was a bit more subtle but still audible.
It shows that the noise is not exclusive to the V3’s I received… and the reason why Wyze replaced them under warranty. Lifehackster talked over and neglected to note the errant noise in his review. Lucky for Wyze. Not luck for the customers who receive one afflicted by the defect.
