Still no deadline ?
It can’t be that hard to translate the main options in the app
I can even provide a french translation free of charge for most buttons if needed
[Mod Edit] I can’t believe this has been here since 2019, meanwhile Wyze is one of the biggest apps, how is it still not a priority to outsource a freelancer to translate the app? It could literally be done in a few weeks for the most important languages

in USA most people speak spanish, not english
This is not quite true yet. In the USA, approximately 239 million people speak English at Home, while only 42 million people speak Spamish at home in the USA. And while that number is still rapidly growing, there are 5.69 times as many people speaking English as their primary language right now, so it is still extremely dominant. Though there are localizations where Spanish or other languages are dominant (just not the USA as a whole).
That’s not to minimize anything. 42 Million is still a HUGE number of people, and from a business perspective, they are likely to earn more money and market share if they make their stuff compatible for those people who have a different language preference. So the main question from a business perspective is whether the small amount of work to be compatible with language settings is worth the bigger market access they will gain from it. Considering Spanish could bring access to several million more people, it sure seems like a good idea to me.
I voted. I don’t know where Wyze is with implementing this—I don’t know how localization is handled (app, OS, combination) since I’m not a developer, but at least some appears to be possible, because I was recently trying to assist a Portuguese speaker in another topic.
Also, I want this to be an actual language:
Or maybe I don’t. I already get plenty of Spamish SMS messages. (Ugh. Election season. )
What a funny misspelling, I’m going to leave it.
To be honest, I think my original unintentional misspelling is also correct. just from randomly scrolling certain social media sites, I would not be surprised if at least 42million people also speak “Spam-ish” fluently, maybe even as a first language. I could list some various groups (even non-political ones) that would qualify, but I think it would be too off-topic. Thankfully the forums and Discord server are really good at removing advertising spam. I’m not sure why they allow all my ramblings though.
I sure hope Google improves their phone language issues. I’m not sure why Pixel phones seem to have weird language and other glitches more than other android brands, but I love my pixel models too much to switch. Google just provides too many awesome bonus features I want for me to go elsewhere again.
Please do. It’s awesome.
I hope there is a Chinese version app
I hope there is a Chinese version of the app so that more people can use it better.

Do you mean a version of the app made to be used specifically in China, or do you mean for the US company’s App to support a Chinese language?
The Wyze app has very limited language support. Some people have reported getting some menu things in different languages, especially when they set their phone’s default language to something other than English, but Wyze hasn’t gone out of its way to support lots of other languages themselves.
As for having a Chinese version of things, it seems China is not listed as one of the official countries Wyze is approved to do business in
(US, Canada, Australia, Brazil, Columbia, Japan, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore), but I believe at least one of their suppliers/partners applied for the Wyze trademark in China (this was mentioned in an AMA and they said they’d look into at some point in the future) so it’s possible that as a result, that supplier may offer some of the devices they supply for Wyze under the Wyze Trademark in China.
I don’t think Wyze has an official clear market presence in China, though they have been indications they could consider regional manufacturing strategies to adapt to different markets, and it’s possible China could be one of them (now or in the future). Personally, I think it would be hard for them to compete for market share there against some of the Chinese companies already there that could offer things cheaper since they aren’t running through a US company first. But they could adapt things separately for some of the other markets. I just am not aware of them doing this.
I think the overall answer to your your hope is that there isn’t really a Chinese specific version of the Wyze app right now like you were hoping.
In the regions where your products are sold, there is a significant number of Chinese-speaking individuals, many of whom do not understand English. They would prefer software with a Chinese interface, and offering multi-language support would undoubtedly be even better.
