I’m using the Apple iPhone and have got mine working from the lamp socket setting, but for the first 6 months I had to use a rule as I only wanted it to turn on when there was an event (motion) and only stay on for 8 minutes, but finally Wyze added the for X minutes to the lamp socket settings and I’ve been good since, not sure if this is the kind of rule would work for you (off after X minutes) or are you using the dark to daylight setting?

The “off after x min” rule is what is not working any more. The lights fail to turn off after they are first activated. I also have a rule to turn the light off entirely between sunrise and sunset because the light was coming on and staying on all day. I tried turning that rule off in case of conflict but it’s not making any difference. The light gets motion activated, turns on, and fails to ever turn off again. It wasn’t always this way though. Once upon a time it worked exactly as it should. I don’t know why it stopped.

I see you said none of the resets worked, Have you tried resetting the lamp socket and attached V3 camera?
I know this is something that is a pain and shouldn’t have to be done once it’s working correctly, but sometimes it cures a glitch.
I’ve gotten to where I go into each camera’s settings and click “restart” monthly just to clear glitches that may be occurring, like the camera video freezing for couple seconds after about 5 seconds playtime on an event, or after any camera or app update, again something we should not have to do
My V3 camera and lamp socket only have the one rule to turn off after 8 minutes after motion detected, Is there any other rules associated with the attached camera?

In the app, click on the Home Screen with all cameras listed, then click on the camera that has the socket attached to it, in the top right should be an icon of a light bulb, click on that to turn ligh on and off.
If you click on the gear icon in the far top right, it will bring up the settings menu, scrolling down you’ll see the accessories menu, click thru that to get to setting for light on/off settings, but you may want to go into the rules to set up rule for a camera to turn it on after a specific action, then just set this to off to avoid conflicts

Been having same issue. Very annoying. Initially I had to reset the settings every night back to “auto detect.” But now even that doesn’t work. Once it turns on, it does not turn off. I don’t want the light on all night! How is this still an issue 3 years later?
