Interesting, It doesn’t work that way on my end. The cameras are lined up in the same order since day one. Tried it on both Safari and Chrome and no dice.
I’d settle for at least maintain the ordering; as it is, camera order keeps changing. If you have many cameras, it’s a chore trying to find what you’re looking for.

Worked instantly for me using both the Android and iOS app.
Only caveat is that it sometimes took me a few tries to get the move to stick when using an embarrassingly old iPhone.
But on current devices of either flavor, sort the cams in the app, refresh the browser and Presto Changeo!
