Installed yesterday and seemed to work fine. This morning, noticed the heater was running. Went outside and heard my A/C unit running.
When I initially installed the thermostat, it told me I needed to use the c adapter. After installing, the unit never turned on. I had the Y, R, W, & G wires in. After a little reading, I noticed I had a blue wire that was not being used. A few forums said that was my c-wire and to hook it up…it worked! Everything powered on! It told me to undo the G wire (so I did). But now, both of them are running and I can’t figure out why. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Just to be clear, you don’t have the C wire adapter connected right? Can you post new pics of both ends?
