I cannot recommend this company anymore. They have consistently gone back on things that are promised. I have been a long time supporter. But there is no reason a camera needs cloud access if you have a microsd or like me and many people the use they own computers to record locally. I have 5 cams no…

so if cloud servers are made obsolete we could lose functionality of the cams… nice. bad enough we cant do many of the same things that work on the app in our browsers.

[image] nelsojr01: so if cloud servers are made obsolete we could lose functionality of the cams Yup, look at the big lawsuit over Belkin Wemo. If wyze goes out of business, the cams will be paperweights. Same for just about every IOT device out there.

I’ve taken another look at dealing with Wize. I was utilizing the Roku security cameras and while they did an average job in maintaining security footage, I had other issues with them. I investigated Wyze security cameras and decided to start utilizing them. I placed an order for one of my clients,…

My main problem w Wyze cameras is things breaking or resetting after firmware updates. Just today one of my cameras completely missed detecting somebody walking right through the detection zone. But here is another blatantly dishonest action by Wyze: Wyze has been on a wild streak of customer alienation this y…

Not saying I don’t believe anyone, but when thousands of people (myself included) have no issues, and someone comes in here spreading conspiracies (that you have to have a subscription to use SD card which is blatently false) or venting without listening to any of the suggestions that are given, one…

I sold all my [Mod Edit] including a thermostat doorbell and a bunch of cams. [Mod Note]: Post edited to conform to the Community Guidelines .

I feel that the composition of Wyze users is those who have none of the pervasive trouble that is plaguing some, combined with those who had trouble, but the trouble has tapered off to a stable user experience (myself), to those who are still having trouble but learned to go easy on themselves and r…

[image] aWintersTale: An instance of that is the different interfaces in the app depending on the camera type They’ve actually made a lot of progress on that. My Panv3, OGs, and v4 all use virtually the same interface now, where before they were all quite different. The regular v3 got updat…
