Hi, I just bought a used Wyze Cam Pan v3 camera. The person who sold it to me said they lost access to the account it was linked to, and even lost access to the email to reset their password. I’ve already set it up on my main account, but I wanted to know if there’s any way they could access their old account and see my camera even though I already have it, or if it will disconnect from their app. I’m worried because I don’t want my privacy to be compromised. Here is a thread you might find interesting. At least with Cam v3 cameras, if the cameras is added to a new Wyze account, the original owner loses all Cloud videos and access to that camera. Welcome to the Wyze forum.

If you hit the reset button and set it up under your account, they no longer have access to now “your” cam or videos even if they manage to remember their old account info.

As others have said you’re fine, but personally I’d delete the camera from your app, hold the setup button for 15-30 seconds to factory reset it, then set it up again.
Just to make sure everything is wiped and at defaults. Probably not necessary, but just a good measure when getting any used device.
