Hubs lose connection on router resets

Surely I can’t be the only one with this problem. The HMS Sense Hub and Outdoor Camera base don’t reconnect after resetting my routers. I just see the crossed out cloud in the app and the message to plug into the router. They won’t reconnect no matter how long I wait.
Last time this happened, I figured it was the router and replaced it. Now I’m running a pricey Mesh router system with 3 bases and I know it works properly, but the hubs still don’t. Is this a firmware bug, or is there maybe a simple solution?

EDIT: 4 hours later, the HMS Sense Hub finally reconnected. Nothing for the Outdoor one though.
