Hi guys, new user here! I was wondering, as it was a sort of “permanent” fix to get the camera mounted outside for me, I really don’t want to mess with it and remove it to charge the battery. The battery is currently at 49% and I’m wondering, is there a way to maybe wirelessly charge the battery from a fully charged power bank or something? Would that work? Also, how long does it take to charge? As I said I don’t want to bring it inside because it’s ‘jerry-rigged’ where it’s at lol, so if I can just buy a decent wireless charge/power bank, if that works I’ll definitely do that. Any ideas? Thanks guys!

I’ve used power banks on several of my Wyze cams but not on my Wyze Battery Cam Pro. I’ll test it and see.
Mine is currently at 65 percent charged and I just plugged it into a 10000 mAh power bank with 5V, 2.1A output. It is currently charging without any problems so far. So I believe you should be able to do the same with yours.
Mine will probably be 100% charged in about an hour. The camera already charged up to 72% now so I know it’s working.
Hopefully this helps answer your question, here is my Wyze Battery Cam Pro charging with the power bank.
That solution still involves a wire, though, right? You use a cable to connect the bank to the Cam (or the Cam’s removable battery pack), I think. I don’t have Battery Cam Pro and am not aware of any wireless charging technology that it or the battery packs support. I think even the charging dock for those batteries requires physical contact with the packs’ metal contact points for charging.
Maybe I’m misunderstanding the original question, though. Welcome to the Forum, @greenllamatapes! ![]()
I wasn’t sure about the term wireless either because you still have to use a cable to charge it. ![]()
I guess using a power bank to charge up the Wyze Battery Cam Pro is optional. However, I use the Wyze solar panel with mine to keep it charged and it’s easier. ![]()

I have found the easiest thing to do is connect the Wyze Solar Panel, or another one. I have been using the BCP for some time now. I have not had to change to charge the battery since adding the Solar Panel.
Is a Solar Panel an option?
Spend the ~$30 for a solar panel and never worry about it again (if you have sunlight in the location).
Mines been running nonstop for 2 years this month😊
I was thinking solar panel earlier, too. Glad to see so much confirmation on that. ![]()
