I put recommended SD cards in my 4 outdoor cameras and base station just to understand the difference from cloud storage, but i can’t get anything to go to the SD card. They remain empty and i cannot find the right buttons to switch over. I’d appreciate any advice on how to do this, thanks.
The SD in the Base is a waste of a card it won’t do anything . To record to the SD in the WCO you need to set it to Scheduled Event Recording, MOTION ONLY, no cooldown period, set it for up to 30 days and a max duration of 5 min. for each video. To view you have to use the app., Open the cam to live view, tap more on the bottom right, tap album, tap scheduled recordings. You have to tap the download icon to view the recording and it will also be saved to your device photo/media center.

*** To turn off cloud recording go the the cam settings, event recording and turn off detects motion. The camera will still detect any motion and record to the SD. I never had good luck doing cloud recording and recording to the SD at the same time because when the cam uploads to the cloud it interrupts the SD recording.
